General Description:
Reliable, detail-oriented team member to support our clinical and administrative teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the medical assistants to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks.
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborate with Medical Assistants and healthcare staff to complete daily clinical and administrative duties
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documents into electronic medicals system (EMR)
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Answer and direct phone calls: respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care
- Relay messages between patients and clinical staff
- Prepare and stock exam rooms with necessary supplies
- Support the coordination of patient care by ensuring timely communication and documentation
Other Duties:
- Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor or Clinic Practice Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college or healthcare-related coursework preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using computers, fax machines, scanners and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is a plus
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Frequent Standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting; muse be able to stand/walk for most of the work day; heavy lifting, must be able to lift packages up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work paying close attention to detail with frequent interruptions
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
